- What is Kyndrid?
- Kyndrid is a private app for sharing recommendations with the people you trust. You vouch for the books, films, restaurants and music you love — and see what your circle is into. No algorithm, no strangers, no noise.
- How is it different from Goodreads, Letterboxd, or Beli?
- Those apps each cover one category. Kyndrid covers everything — books, films, restaurants, music, anything worth telling a friend about — in one place, organised by what it is and who vouched for it.
- Is Kyndrid free?
- Yes. Kyndrid is free to download on the App Store and free to use.
- Do my friends need the app to see my recommendations?
- Recommendations live inside your circle, so yes — your circle is on Kyndrid with you. You can also use the web app at kyndrid.app if iOS isn't your thing.
- Is there an Android app?
- Not yet. iOS first. In the meantime, the web app at kyndrid.app works on any device.
- What's a 'vouch'?
- A vouch is a one-tap recommendation. Instead of a star rating from one to five, you simply say: I love this. That's the whole signal. It's what makes the feed worth reading.
- Who can see what I vouch for?
- Only the people in your circle. Kyndrid is private by default.
- How do you keep things ad-free?
- We don't sell ads, we don't sell data, and we don't optimise for engagement. The product is the product.
